Meet the Rejoice Team
Rejoice is led by two teams: the Council for Mission and Ministry, and the Core Leadership Team.
The purpose of the
Council for Mission and Ministry is to be the guardian of the mission and the future of Rejoice.
This group of seven is elected by the congregation.
They set and monitor the mission, identify current-year goals, set policy and parameters, own the budget, hold accountable the pastor and Core Leadership Team for performance, communicate with the congregation, and carry out the constitution and by-laws.
Each Council member is also “matched up” with the various ministries in Rejoice. They serve as the connection between the council and those ministries. The purpose of the Core Leadership Team is to implement the strategies of the mission. This group reports to the Council. They lead and facilitate the implementation of the mission, serve as entrepreneurs in their ministry area, mentor and multiply their teams and team leaders, and champion the vision of the church.
