Moms On a Mission (MOM)
| WHEN? | 2nd Tuesday of every month, September-May 9:00 - 11:00 am |
| WHO? | All women in the community are welcome! |
| WHAT? | Women and mothers who meet to share our faith, our lives and our love of caring for others. |

M.O.M is a mission-focused group for all women in the community. If you are looking for an opportunity to develop friendships with other moms while making a difference in the lives of others, then this is the group for you! Each meeting has a different focus within an overall theme for the year. We warmly welcome new members to join the group throughout the year. This is an open group, and members may come and go from the group as their schedules permit. There is no cost to join, and free child care is available for infants through preschoolers.

"Body of Christ." We will explore

different ways we represent the Body of Christ - our hands, our feet, our eyes - while also enjoying our fellowship time where we share our everyday lives. We will also help others through mission projects. It is wonderful for us to have the ability to make a difference through our combined efforts where we might not be able to make an impact individually. One mission we participate in on a monthly basis is to bring a piece of fresh fruit, which we make into a fruit basket to donate to those staying at Lazarus House in St. Charles. We also collect pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Other mission projects change according to the topic of each meeting. Examples of past missions include the following: donations of gloves for those receiving wheelchairs, which were delivered by one of our members on a mission trip to Peru; prom dresses and accessories to the Cinderella Project in Aurora for girls who can't afford these items; hats and scarves to women undergoing chemo and losing their hair; gift bags for foster moms on Mothers' Day and for caregivers of elderly parents; cutting fabric for a group of women who sew gowns for babies in the NICU... the list goes on. The impact this group has is incredible! In addition to caring for others through our mission projects, we also care for our members and their families and friends. In times of need (new babies, deaths, divorces, medical needs, etc.), we are able to hold each other up through prayer, e-mails, visits, meal deliveries, and so much more!
In addition to our monthly meetings, we hold a Bible Study on the other Tuesdays of each month. And we have moms' nights out for further fellowship and fun! We are blessed to have each other and are thrilled that we continue to add new members!
