HELPING PARENTS TEACH THE FAITH
Summit affirms the role of parents as the primary formers of their children’s faith. Our ministry aims to supplement your family’s spiritual education through programs like Summit.
JOINING SUMMIT
If your high schooler knows someone in Summit already, we recommend that he/she comes with them to the next Summit event on the schedule. Your high schooler will be automatically placed in their mentor group, and the mentors in that group will get your child registered via a registration card. If you don’t know anyone, the best day to be introduced to Summit is on any Summit night. Simply tell one of the adults that you are new, and they will help your student find a mentor and small group for the night.
WHAT MENTORS DO
Your child’s Summit mentors make a commitment for one year to disciple and pray for the students in their group. Each mentor is required to complete extensive training and complete a background check before beginning their ministry. Here’s what you can expect from your mentors.
Praying for you specifically each day
Support you spiritually and talk with you about life in general
Notifing you with any announcements regarding Summit
Live their faith alongside of you and not talk down to you
