2012 ASCENT Summer Mission Trip

This summer our high school missionaries will travel to Nashville, TN to serve in many capacities. The type of work we will be doing depends on what the needs are this summer - packing boxes at a food bank, ministering at a women's shelter, hanging out with inner-city kids, serving refugee families and construction projects. With whatever we do, we will be showing up with love to serve as God's hands!
We will be partnering with YWAM (Youth With A Mission), an organization that has been around since 1960 and excels in the area of domestic and global missions. Through YWAM, we will receive evangelism training, worship with hundreds of other students, meet in small groups, and serve alongside one another. The purpose of this trip is not only to meet the basic physical needs of the people of Nashvill, but most importantly, to meet their spiritual needs by bringing them the life-changing message of Jesus Christ!
