Matrix for Middle Schoolers
“Helping students know, live, own, and share their faith in Jesus Christ."
Matrix is the middle school ministry, serving students in grades 6-8. Through large group instruction, small group discussion, events, retreats and mission projects, its mission is to help students know, live, own and share their faith in Jesus Christ. Matrix focuses on building healthy peer/adult mentoring relationships, providing unique and interactive ways to pray, offering personalized discipleship through caring mentor groups, and teaching biblical principles and church doctrine that apply in a student’s life.
The program runs September through May, every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Students in the 8th grade are offered the opportunity to declare their personal faith in Jesus Christ at the rite of Confirmation.
