Retreats
To supplement our mission, Matrix staff lead students on special weekend events each year, such as outdoor adventure retreats, mission projects and our popular Winter Xtreme weekend at Camp Timber-lee. Registration flyers are distributed prior to these events with cost and sign up information. These weekend events are a must for any Matrixer, offering a spiritual mountain-top experience and a chance to deepen connections with other Matrixers and mentors. Ask any student, and they’ll tell you these weekends are the highlight of their Matrix experience.
Prior to each event, all registered participants receive a detailed “Event Packet” via eMatrix with all the material you need to prepare your Matrixer for a life-changing weekend, including a schedule, what to bring list, medical forms, contact numbers, recreation options, etc. This information (with links to the necessary forms) can also be found on this webpage as the event draws near.
